Featured on Late Night with Seth Meyers: Ben Stiller/Rose Matafeo/Brooke Colucci (2022). Edit* Episode 9 S1 is one of the best episodes of television I’ve ever seen of a serialized show, it still tells the story but shines so much brighter. And he deserves awards and recognition for it.
There have only been two episodes out
So I’m going to keep this very brief for now and update with a full review at the end of the series. All of which I’m going to spoil, because I went into the plot blind before watching. If we’re going by the cast and director alone, Stiller remains one of the few unique filmmakers in Hollywood who can get great actors and decent budgets.
It’s a universe unto itself
This series is unlike anything else currently on the air and has great potential to be considered one of the best irreverent and offbeat black comedy series of all time. I can’t wait to see how the world develops. Just give this one a chance, so far it’s not political or affected by the real world.
And so far I’m loving it
