Then “Dexter: Resurrection” (2025)
Miami, 1991. When his bloodthirsty temptations can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to control his inner darkness, turning into a serial killer seeking revenge on a student led by his father, Harry. Christian Slater was older than James Remar when Dexter first aired (2006). I am a Dexter fan through and through.
“Dexter” (seasons 1-8) is the only TV series that I constantly rewatch
Like Harry (according to Dexter), change does not come easily to me. Therefore, when “Dexter: The New Blood” came out, I was initially very disappointed by the change of scenery, the cold, the absence of some of my favorite actors, as well as the lack of humor and Latin American music. However, after watching it as a separate program (nothing like the original), I liked it. Now, with the appearance of this new program, we are not quite used to new faces in the cast.
Yes, we wish Michael S
We all remember that young Dexter, Deb and Harry, even Laura Moser looked different. However, I think that it would be unfair to judge actors, because we, actors, are not in the place of directors and producers. I believe that in addition to the similarity in appearance, many other aspects should be taken into account. If only Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, James Remar and other members of the original cast could miraculously play younger versions of their characters, but time goes only one way.
(Bonus: I really like Christian Slater
He’s gorgeous, as always!) So far, having watched the first episode twice, I’m in awe. I think everyone did a great job with the role of Dexter. I really can’t deny the fact that after seeing Dexter being resuscitated in the emergency room, I’m looking forward to watching Dexter: Resurrection even more. In short, I think this program is great and I’ll like it even more over time.
Hope you like it!
If you’re a Dexter fan, watch it without any specific expectations or preconceptions. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the loudest premieres on TV and streaming this month. More detailed information can be found in our calendar for December!
