A prequel to the original Dune, which tells the story of how the evil Sisterhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The case, voiced by Valya Harkonnen, is from “Mentats of Dune.” All three books weave through the evolution of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors.
There’s no depth, the dialogue is quite silly at times
I knew it couldn’t be as good as the movies, but I didn’t expect it to be so…mediocre. For a moment I thought it was an Amazon production, not HBO.
For some scenes I also wonder why they were included
Not the right casting for some of the roles; no bcs the actors are bad but they are just not suited to the role. There is too much going on in the first episode and they jump from scene to scene as if in a hurry.
I really hope it gets better
No real special effects, looks a bit low budget. I am not sure what camera they used but the shots are too simple.
